Parata Barocca
design Cecilia Anselmi
The graphics are based on a diamond pattern of red lines. A geometric texture on which groups of suspended figures are positioned; these are fragments of a painting full of details, “Giostra dei Caroselli barocchi a Palazzo Barberini” by Filippo Lauri which took place in Rome in honor of Queen Christina of Sweden in 1656. That chosen detail of this painting shows two groups of figures: knights and amazons. The former wear turquoise costumes edged with silver, the amazons showy costumes in red and gold. All are adorned with colorful parade hairstyles behind which a light blue chariot can be recognized. In the painting that represented Roma Festiva in the guise of Love. The pattern of this graphic combines geometric abstraction with figures which, while recalling them in shape and colour, are not at all “floral” as in conventional wallpaper graphics, but of a completely different kind, maintaining originality with a refined retro taste.
Graphics suitable for different kind of spaces, residential, receptive, for retail and hospitality, where a certain welcoming comfort and domestic atmosphere is required.
