Borromini tapestry

 The “Borromini” tapestry is the result of Effimero Barocco’s collaboration with the historic textile manufacturer Torri Lana 1885, an Italian excellence in the industry. Borromini is the fabric translation of a detail from the dome of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane in Rome, designed by the great architect in 1640. The fabric consists of a white warp and a frisé linen weft, available in different color options in the Artemest catalog. This tapestry captures the complexity and beauty of the works of the Baroque master from whom it takes its name, transforming the bold features of Baroque architecture into an intricate contemporary textile narrative.
